I want to sincerely thank you for your support and trust over the past 26 years. Since its creation at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, DEEPSOIL has grown from an academic tool into a globally recognized standard for 1D site response analysis – with over 30,000 downloads, taught in classrooms worldwide, and applied across infrastructure, mining, and environmental projects. This is a legacy I am grateful to have been a part of, and for your role in shaping it.

As described in the DEEPSOIL license, the current license expires on July 31, 2025.

I am excited to announce the next chapter of DEEPSOIL. As of July 31, 2025, the program has moved, through an exclusive license from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, into its next phase under Rocscience Inc. - reintroduced to the global geotechnical community as RSSeismic . As part of this transition, DEEPSOIL is no longer available through the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

All DEEPSOIL files are readable in RSSeismic.
